I love food. I think everyone does. But as I grow older my love for food isn’t just limited to pancakes, fries, and anything non-veggie anymore. Quite the opposite really as I love trying out new things.
However I oftend find that I still limit myself a little bit to things that I’m at least a bit familiar with and so I thought it would be a good idea to challenge myself a bit more and dare to try more things that are out of my comfort zone!
So for this challenge I wanted to try 10 different world cuisine dishes that I’ve never had before and I recently had my very first experience when me and the boyfriend went for dinner at a Morrocon/Libanese/Middle-Eastern restaurant.
As someone who isn’t too found of honey and rose water I was a little bit reluctant but keeping in mind that I wanted to challenge myself convinced me that I needed to try it just because I was so reluctant. Glad I did because I had an amazing meal!
We opted for a special option they had where you could try all the items on the menu but in smaller sizes. As we really wanted to delve into this (to us) new world cuisine it seemed like a perfect fit. And whilst I still don’t really like dishes with rosewater in them I can honestly say I can’t wait to go back there again!
But it’ll be a while because I first have 9 other world cuisines to try out 😉
